Roy was the son of Terry George and Cora B. (Allen) Stevens. He was born in Shabbona, Illinois on December 24, 1880, and married Anna Elizabeth Davies at Redmond, Oregon on June 15, 1913. He came west from Illinois and resided in California and Washington before coming to Idaho. He was the father of William T.; Frank; Roy E. Stevens, Jr.
