Ephraim Hill was the son of David Hill. Ephraim after a number of years at sea, settled in Iredell County, NC (1767). He married Ann Holliday in that county and had a large family. They then moved to Spartanburg Co, SC. Prior to 1800, they moved to Livingston County, KY. Livingston Co Estate Records by Brenda Jerome Joyce page 41, 42
