Born May 12, 1889, at Dudenville, Mo., she moved to Carthage from the Red Oak community in 1935. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She was married to Elmer C. Griffith April 16, 1910, at Gray's Point. He died April 21, 1969. She was a nurse's aide at McCune-Brooks Hospital.
Survivors include a foster daughter Mrs. June Pettyjohn, Kansas City; three foster grandchildren and four foster great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ulmer Funeral Home, Bob Lyttle, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Gray's Point Cemetery under direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
