Mr. Darold Gene Sullins, 74, of Newport died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at St. Louis, Missouri.
He retired from the Brentwood, Missouri police department in 1984 after over 20 years of service.
Mr. Sullins was preceded in death by his twin brother, Harold Dean Sullins; and one sister, Rachel Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Adams Sullins; daughter, Marsha Ring and husband Mike of St. Louis; stepson, David Prater of Lexington, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Vicky Prater of St. Louis; stepgrandson, David Moise; special nephew, Greg Sullins and wife Kim of St. Louis; uncle, Fred Sullins of Newport; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Sullins Cemetery.
