Rezin B. (Reese) Harding FREEPORT, Sept. 9 - Rezin B. (Reese) Harding 81, died Saturday at 9:10 a.m. in Swan Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Guernsey County on Jan. 21, 1869, a son of Basil and Sarah Decker Harding, and resided nearly all his life in Guernsey County on Freeport R.D. 1. He was married twice, first to Maggie Swaim, who died in 1924. He later married Mrs. Mary Vorhes, who survives. Surviving are the following children, Florence, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Pearl Goode, Dayton; Mrs. Hazel Wright, Basil; Mrs. Violet Cunningham, Freeport R.D.; Mrs. Mary Harding of Delroy and Oscar of Freeport R.D. Fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild, and two sisters; Mrs. B. C. Willis of Freeport and Mrs. Bert Mahan, also survive. Two sisters and one brother are deceased. The body was taken to the McCoy Funeral Home where it will remain for services Monday at 2 p.m. (EST), in charg of Rev. Alan Knoll. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. NOTE: He first married Maggie E. Swaim 24 Feb 1904 in Tuscarawas Co., OH. He 2nd married one Amelia Anderson Martin on 19 Aug 1930 and later divorced her. He 3rd married Mary Etta (Stage) Voorhes on 24 Oct 1945 in Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH.
