Lucille Blethyn age 57 of Sturgeon Bay, WI., died December 14, 2008 as a result of complications related to an on-going illness, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.

The former Lucille Beckstrom was born on November 13, 1951 in Norway, MI., the daughter of the late Ernest Beckstrom and Anita (Cantrill) Beckstrom.

Lucille Beckstrom married Geoffrey Blethyn on August 4, 1994 in Norway, Michigan.

Luci was a wonderful wife and caring mother and grandmother. Her siblings often refer to her as "the good one" and "Nita's favorite." Luci's entire working career was with the United States Government and she had the opportunity to live in England for 11 years. While there, she was able to realize her passion for antiquing, visiting England's beautiful gardens (Luci was an avid gardener), and traveling extensively.

Luci and her husband Geoffrey travelled throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and most of Europe. Her State-side relatives loved visiting her because she always made every visit special, whether it was taking them to Paris, Rome, Holland, Belgium or Germany, or viewing the White Cliffs of Dover.

Luci will be greatly missed by her family and numerous friends throughout the world.

Luci Blethyn was survived by her husband Geoffrey Blethyn; children John (Lea) Nanney, Rebecca (Shaun) Keeling, Jamie Blethyn and Neil (Randa) Blethyn; grandchildren Alex Haen, Nathaniel Nanney, Lyla Blethyn, Adam and Benjamin Keeling, and Emma Nanney; Sisters Lois Zember of Menasha, WI., Betty Scott of Woodbridge, VA; brother William (June Maynard) Beckstrom of Norway; mother-in-law Elsie Blethyn; sisters-in-law Joyce Blethyn and Ann Chisholm; uncle Ron (Peggy) Cantrill of Chicago, IL; aunt Alice (Wesley) Perket of Menasha, WI.; nieces Tracy (Mike) Doede, Melissa (Keith) Johnson, Cherish (Bill) Nelson, Rebecca (Shaun) Keeling; nephew Joe (Tracy) Zember, John (Lea) Nanney, Eric Maynard; along with numerous great nephews and nieces and cousins.

Luci was preceded in death by her parents, Anita and Ernest Beckstrom, her grandparents, Irene and Roy Cantrill, and a special Aunt, Eleanor "Becky" Johnson.
