ARNOLD, HELEN H., 84, Oakdale passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002 in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. She was a retired teachers aide with 19 years at Oakdale School and a member of the Pine Orchard Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Lawrence Arnold; son Glenn Arnold; and parents Mason and Adra Hatfield. She is survived by daughter Joann A. O'Dell of Oakdale; grandchildren Tammy O'Dell, Gene O'Dell and wife Kelly, Robin Arnond and Jim McKinney and wife Donna; great-grandchildren Avery McKinney and Mallory McKinney; sisters Lucy Page of Harriman, Ruth Ruppe of Oakdale and Eula Spurling of Rockwood; brothers, W.K. Hatfield of Nashville, Lewis Hatfield of Oakdale and Glen Hatfield of Crossville. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Pine Orchard Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Walker officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Orchard Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Evans Mortuary.
