Virgil Oliver Delk 63 of Jamestown, died May 25 at the Uplands Cumberland Medical Center after an extended illness. Funeral services were May 27 at the Central Union Baptist Church with burial in the Crockett Cemetery. the Rev, Homer Brown officiated, Mundy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Leona Delk, five sons, James Oliver Delk of Alaska, Jesse Delk of Muncie, IN, Paul,Preston and Homer Delk both of Jamestown, Eugene Delk of Monticello, IN; six daughters Mrs. Georgia Young of Clarkrange, Mrs. Ann Lee Hood, Mrs. Alma Jean Stephens, Margarett, Glenda and Martha Delk all of Jamestown. One sister Octa Sleven of Jamestown and 13 grandchildren.
