Joseph Bradford Clyde became a Naturalized United States Citizen, State of Kansas, Wyandotte County on September 20, 1905. Joseph was born and raised in Scotland and came to the United States. He was a kind, hard-working man who was dedicated to his church and his family.

Mrs. Jessie Clyde, 38 South Pyle Street, Kansas City, Kansas today identified the body of the pedestrian injured fatally last night by a motor car on Central Avenue, as that of her husband, Joseph B. Clyde age 62 years, a car checker for the Alton-Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. Mr. Clyde's body was taken to the Daniels Brother's mortuary. Mr. Clyde, witnesses said stepped from behind parked cars in the path of a motor car. Mr. Clyde leaves a son, J.M. Clyde 3605 Troost Avenue and a daughter, Jessie.

OBIT--JB Clyde, Mr. Clyde was a member of the Kaw Lodge No. 272, A.F.& A.M., Scottish Klans and the United Presbyterian Church. He was killed on Christmas Eve, 1936.

I never had the privilege of meeting Uncle Joseph because he was killed before I was born. I knew his children really well.
