He was born on May 24, 1927, in Page County and was a son of the late David L. and Nona Thomas Meadows.
Mr. Meadows was a retired inspector for Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. He served as an Army Technician during World War II and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Citrus Springs.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Doris VanHorn Meadows, are a sister, Thelma M. Marston of Luray; a brother David L. Meadows of Dunnellon, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives in Page County.
He was preceded in death by a brother William J. Meadows.
A Catholic Mass was conducted on Wednesday, Aug. 4, in Citrus Springs with burial in Ocala.
