Antoine "Menou" Joseph Robinson Sr., 62, a native of Houma and a resident of Dulac, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2008.

Visitation was at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral service was at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in Grand Caillou Baptist Cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, Antoine Robinson Jr. and wife, Sylvia, Paul Robinson of Dulac and Andy Robinson and wife, Candy of Houma; two daughters, Sonia Robinson and husband, Calvin Guidry, and Antoinette Harding and husband, Joseph Harding of Dulac; five sisters, Eloise Robinson, Veronica Fitch of Dulac, Dorothy Williams, Lucille Parfait and Clara Duthu of Houma; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Dufrene Robinson; his parents, Camile Robinson and Marie Billiot Robinson; four sisters, Alma Tosclair, Eva Trahan, Mary Gregoire and Emelda Billiot; and one granddaughter, Angel Robinson.

He was a tug boat captain for Callais Towing and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
