Bert Chew, age 45 years, a former resident of Glenwood, died Wednesday at his home in Berrein Springs, according to word received here, and his body will arrive in this city tonight at 6:40 and be brought to the home of his step, mother Mrs. Lizzie Chew, 232 West First street. The deceased left Glenwood a few years ago, and had. since lived in Michigan. He as survived by the widow, and two children, Mrs. Herbert Smith and Miss Dorothy Chew of Berrien Springs.
His father, A. L. Chew, died here a few months ago. He is also survived" by the step-mother in this city, a brother Alfred Chew, and sister, Mrs. Raymond King pf Indianapolis, and three other sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Nowlin of hear Rushville Mrs. Beulah Stamm of Glenwood and Miss Ruth Chew of Greenfleld. Funeral services will be A held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Glenwood M. E. church in charge of Elder French of Berrien Springs, interment will be in Glenwood cemetery.
