Edward J. Reiser Of Channahon, it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward. He peacefully departed this earthly life surrounded by his family on July 13, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center at the age of 61.
Beloved husband of Ann (nee Katzmarek) Reiser; devoted father of Christopher Reiser and Jennifer Fritsch-Stock; proud grandfather of Cody Fritsch, Ella Stock, Bailey Reiser and Angel Baby Gracie Stock. Loving son of Crystal (the late John) Hajicek; dear brother of Bill, John, and Henry Reiser, Barbara Zimmerman and Linda Hopkins.
Preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Reiser; and his sister, Patricia Reiser.
A distinguished veteran of the U.S. Army, and a proud member of the 5th and 60th Infantry-Vietnam Veterans Association.
A Military Committal Service for Edward J. Reiser will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery located at 27034 S. Diagonal Rd., Elwood, IL at 10:00 a.m. Please meet directly at the Cemetery Welcome Center. Arrangements entrused to The Maple Funeral Home and Crematorium, 24300 S.
