FUNERAL SERVICES FOR APACHE MAN ARE HELD SUNDAY
APACHE--Funeral services for B.C. Ramser were held at 2:30 Sunday at the Cache Creek Presbyterian church, west of Apache. Rev. Jerry Hayenga officiated. Rev. Joe Gomez and Rev. George Staffer assisted. Burial was in the Cache Creek cemetery with the Crews Funeral home in charge.
Ramser, resident of Apache community for the past 20 years, died at his ranch home Friday morning after a long illness.
He was born September 4, 1886, at Pahatton (sic) Point, Ohio. He lived in Carson City a number of years before moving to Apache 20 years ago. he was married to Almira Gilbreath at Apache on June 7, 1942. He was active in church work and taught a Sunday School class for many years.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two stepsons, Walter and Wylie Gilbreath, both of Apache; a step-daughter, Margrat Gilbreath, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Ramser, Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Roy Moore of Blaine, Wash.; and one brother, W.T. Ramser, Spokane.
