ABBOTT, FLOYD Sr. – 70, of Junction City, died at 7 o'clock Friday night [4 Feb 1966] in Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital after an illness of two days. He was born Aug. 21, 1895 in Oneida, Tenn., he had lived here most of his life, was a retired businessman and a member of Junction City Christian church. Survivors are three sons, C. P. ABBOTT, H. C. ABBOTT and FLOYD ABBOTT, Jr., all of Junction City; two brothers, CALVIN ABBOTT and CLIFFORD ABBOTT, both of Parksville; five sisters, Mrs. MANUEL PENDYGRAFT and Mrs. FRED YOUNG, both of Danville; Mrs. TOMMY LOGUE, Junction City; Mrs. JOHN COULTER, Parksville, and Mrs. EDGAR STANLEY Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Stith Funeral Home by PAUL WILLIAM PATTON, minister of Junction City Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. RICHARD STILTNER, pastor of Junction city Baptist Church. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Active bearers will be JERRY HIGH, BOB MAY, LOUIS KRIENER, HARRY BOGIE, RAYMOND SIMS and CHARLIE HARMON. Honorary bearers will be the deacons of Junction City Christian Church.
