WIFE OF THE LATE 1st. JAMES O. LANE & 2nd LESTER SMITH. Ollie married James O. Lane 1941 and they had a daughter Mary Lily b.d. 1942, and a son born in 1945.
After the death of James O. Lane, in 1946 she met and married Lester Smith, who was a Navy serviceman. It was a marriage made in heaven. To this union there was four sons and four daughters.
She was a loving Mother, very protective of all her children. Very hard working, housewife, she gardened, milk a cow, canned lots of vegetables and fruits. They raised different kinds of apples, berries, and peaches. She was the strongest woman I knew.
