William H. Magie (sic), an inmate of the Soldiers' Home, passed away yesterday in the West hospital. Deceased was born in Illinois in 1843, and enlisted in Company #, 77th Illinois infantry on August 15, 1865, having seen service of 35 months. He was admitted to the home from Ashland, Saunders county, August 11, 1890, and died at the West hospital Sunday, March 1, 1914, aged 71 years. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, interment being made in the Home cemetery.
