Preceded in death by husband James Martin Volentine Sr, grandsons Chad Bradshaw and Rickey Boley, and brother Ish Cain.

Survived by son James (Marie) Volentine Jr, daughter Betty (Clem) Irwin, daughter Kay Bradshaw, daughter Nancy (James) Colwell, sister Ruanah Turberville, and five grandchildren.
