CLAY COOP was born September 9, 1938 and departed this life September 23, 2007 reaching the age of 69 years.

He was the son of the late Gertie Grider Coop and Ira Jane Moore Coop. He married Nell Boston and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Nell Coop of Monticello, KY; one son, Anthony Coop of Windy, KY; two daughters, Stephanie Coop and Jane Colyer both of Monticello, KY; 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Jerry Coop of Albany, KY; two sisters, Genneta Hill of Byrdstown, TN and Imelia Coop of Albany, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jarred Coop; and two brothers, Page and Randall Coop.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
