ROY B. ODOM -
Funeral for Roy B. Odom, 78, of Decatur, who died Tuesday night at Decatur General Hospital, was to be today at 3:30 p.m. at Brown Service Chapel, the Rev. Pete Furio, the Rev. Elmer Johnson and the Rev. John Rutland officiating, with burial in Decatur Cemetery, Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Susie B. Odom of Decatur; one daughter, Mrs. Hal White of Jackson, Miss; two sisters, Miss Maude Odom and Mrs. Sam Byars, both of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Guy Spencer Jr, Fred Henderson, Billy Martin, John Kirby, Jack Sapp and Fred Reid.
Honorary pallbearers were to be officers and employees of First Federal Savings and Loan Association.
Odom was a former Decatur mayor and threee-term city councilman.
