Ruth Jones, 90, of Tupelo passed away Saturday, June 30, 2001 in Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mildred Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Neal and the Rev. B. F. Risinger Jr. Interment will be at Rice Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Jones, Kelly Nutt, Brett Rachel, Todd Jones, Kyle Milford and Brent Folmar. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Rich, Rutherford Stough, Travis Willis, Joe Williamson and Cliff Tew.
Mrs. Jones was born Nov. 18, 1910 in Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Alvin Hill Jones; and a son, James Alvin (Jimmy) Jones.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary of Jones of Mildred; daughters and sons-in-law, Davis and Duane Nutt of Corsicana and Fran and David Rachel of Texas City; daughter-in-law, Cherry Hutchinson of Jonesboro, Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
