Glyn worked at the Waco Veterans Hospital as a nurse for 18 years. She helped many patients until her retirement in 1980. She took great pride in growing beautiful flowers in her garden with her husband. Glyn was a fantastic cook and loved making quilts for her family. She enjoyed raising her four children and spending time with her family. Glyn delighted in spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her senior citizen group, the "Timberliners" at Timbercrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dorsey; and her daughters, Frances Bivona and Nancy Dorsey.
Survivors include her sons, Garland Dorsey and wife, Carolyn, of Fort Worth and Mike Dorsey and wife, Becky, of Waco; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
