Gerald Wizorek was born in Ionia, Michigan on November 30, 1926 to the late Michael Wizorek and Olive (Barrett) Wizorek. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army surviving during WW II.
He married the former Elizabeth (Betty) Briggs on June 14, 1952 at St. Michael's Church. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2004.
Jerry was retired from Gus Matonek Trucking, a member of St. Michael's Church and Pinconning K of C's. He served as a Pinconning City Council member and was a member and Past Commander of the Pinconning VFW Post.
He was survived by 2 daughters Janice & Gregory Davis and Patrice & Rodney Filcek; grand children Kensey, Brett, and Jalynn Filcek; Brittany and Briggs Davis; great grand daughter Amani Rae.
He was predeceased by a son Briggs in 1986 and a brother Michael Wizorek.
Funeral Mass from St. Michael Church with Fr. George Serour and Deacon Ralph Brisson presiding. Rite of burial with inurnment in St. Michael Cemetery.
