Funeral Service for Mrs. Margie Ann “Nanny” Trimble, 91, of Waverly, Alabama, will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. James Caufield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Camp Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trimble passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 9, 1929 in Chambers County, Alabama to Henry Lewis Jarrell and Martha Boyd Abernathy Jarrell. She attended Rock Springs Baptist Church. Margie was lovingly referred to by her family as the “classic Grandmother.” She enjoyed baking cakes from scratch, family gatherings, going out to eat with her family and camping. Nanny was always helping family, friends and even the community by serving at the local senior center.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Robinson, Brenda Davidson (Bruce), Roger Trimble (Vicky); six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchild; two nieces and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 39 years, William Trimble; grandson, Vincent Robinson; granddaughter, Carla Jones; great-granddaughter, Miranda Bishop; two brothers and four nephews.
