Rubye Nell Garrett, age 86, of Halls died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Lauderdale Co. Community Living Center of Ripley, TN.
Rubye was born July 10, 1930 in Crockett Co., TN. She is the daughter of the late Henry and the late Annie Estell (Ellison) Nearn.
Rubye married the late Marcus J. Garrett.
She was an Industrial Seamstress.
Rubye is survived by four daughters: Bitsy (Ray) Ballard of Henning, TN, Charlotte Patton of Halls, TN, Margaret (Terry) Adkerson of Gates, TN. Sister of one sister: Evelyn Elmore of Cleveland, MS; She also has five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.
Predeceased by her husband, Marcus J. Garrett, Sisters; Annie Pearl Jackson and Louise Riddick, and one Grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am Saturday August 6th. at the Chapel of Halls Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm Saturday August 6th. at the Chapel of Halls Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Gates on Saturday, August 6th. following the Service.
