OBITUARY of Margaret L. Cobb

Margaret L. . Cobb. 94. of Lovilia, died Saturday. March 3, 2001 at Oakwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albia. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7 at United Methodist Church in Lovilia. Rev. Gordon Vickery officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

She was bom August 24, 1906, in the Union Township of Monroe County to William and Della Hoskins Henderson. She married Eugene Cobb on May 1, 1928. She went through the eighth grade at the Miller Country School. After eighth grade she went to the Lovilia High School where she graduated. After graduation she received her normal training degree in Albia, and taught at the Miller Country School until she married. After she manried she became a homemaker.

She is survived by four nieces, Ruth Dunkin of Des Moines, Mildred Buckrop of Moline. Ill., Mary Scott of Saucier. Miss., and Beverly Farley of Grinnell; and four nephews, William A. Henderson of Albia, Donald Henderson of Lynnville, Carl Johnson of Des Moines and Robert Samuelson of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; two brothers, one in infancy and Floyd Henderson; four sisters, Anna Johnson, Eva Samuelson, Maude Garrett and Inez Anderson.

Visitation was open all day Tuesday, March 6 at Winfield Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Church in Lovilia.
