Mrs. August E. Rose
of Ogden Succumbs
Mrs. Mary Ann Brough Rose, aged 69, wife of August E. Rose, died Sunday at the home, 607 Chester street, after a lingering illness. She was born March 17, 1862, a daughter of Thomas and Jane Brough.
She came to Utah in 1911 and resided in Slaterville until 1925, when the family moved to Ogden.
Surviving are the husband, and six daughters and sons: Mrs. Benjamin Waldron, Mrs. Lyman Meacham, Arley and Stanley Rose, Morgan; Mrs, James H. Rich, Slaterville; Mrs. Pearl Bartholemew, Ogden; and 18 grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday 2 o'clock in the Eighth ward chapel, with Bishop I. L. Richards presiding. Friends may call at the home Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until hour of services. Interment will be made in Mount Ogden Memorial park.
