Lloyd Emil Schweikhard, 87, a 12-year resident of Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed into eternal life in Glendale, Calif., on July 17, 2009, after having suffered a massive stroke.

Lloyd was born in Okmulgee, Okla., and moved to Tempe, Ariz., in 1922. He was a 1940 graduate of Tempe Union High School. After high school, his family moved to San Diego, Calif., and Lloyd began life experiences that made him a citizen of the world.

His Army service took him to Korea, Japan and other Pacific areas.

Lloyd was a salesman of many things during his lifetime, always believing that his product would make someone's life better. He also worked as a jig and fixture builder in the aircraft manufacturing industry, both in the U.S. and Canada.
