Son of Lloyd Darrell Skelton and Jim Flora Oglesby Skelton. Served in Air Force during WWII.
Married Virginia Louise Burdine (Davidson). Their only child, Paul Darrell "Rusty" Skelton II was was killed in Vietnam in 1967.
