Our beloved wife, mother grandmother and sister, Elaine Fairclough, passed from this world into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on February 1, 1991.
She was born March 6, 1915 to Jeanette Lance and William A. Johnson in Woodrow, Idaho. She married Arthur W. Fairclough on July 23, 1947. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Lybia Temple, Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her husband, her children: Max Sherner (Kiku), Nancy Allred (Ron) and Larry Fairclough (Rolayne). Grandchildren: Scott Sherner, Lance Sherner, Wendy Sherner, Chris Sherner, Kelly Allred, Trina Carter (Ray) and Tanya Fairclough, three and one half great grandchildren, sister Minnie Jensen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Arthur L. Fairclough and 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Not only was she a friend but a life-long friend. She devoted her life to her family and lovingly put them first. She instilled in her children a sense of responsibility and values for which we will be eternally grateful. She was vivacious, fun-loving and had a great sense of humor.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 6, 1991 at 12 noon at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive. Friends may call 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
"Those whose lives she touched are blessed and will always keep her in their hearts."
