Funeral services were held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church northwest of Inwood Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Anna Berkland. Rev. B. H. J. Habel officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Anna Tomine Berkland died at her home in Klondike Saturday, July 24, at the age of 90 years. She has lived with her brother Elias Monen for a number of years. She moved to this community in 1892. She had been a widow for 64 years. Survivors are her brother Elias Monen, a daughter, and several grandchildren in Washington. A son preceded her in death.
