MRS. MARY BESHARA DIES SUDDENLY

But a few minutes after she had returned from a motor drive, Mrs. Mary Beshara, widow of George Beshara, suffered a heart attack and died at her home, 73 Erin Street yesterday afternoon.

She was born in Mount Lebanon and came to this country as a young woman. For many years her home had been in Saint John and she won the respect and esteem of all who have been associated with her. The word of her sudden death came as a great shock to the members of the Syrian community.

Mrs. Beshara is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary I. Beshara, of this city; six sons, Joseph G. of Yarmouth, N.S., and Charles, Thomas, Edward, John and Louis of this city. She also leaves one brother residing in the Argentine, and two sisters in Mount Lebanon. There are also surviving 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be from her late residence, Erin Street.
