MRS. JENNIE H. STICKLER
BATH -- Mrs. Jennie Horton Stickler, 80, widow of Lafeyette S. Stickler of Campbell, died early today at the Wise Convalescence Home.
Born in Campbell, September 2, 1869, she was the daughter of Alfred and Almina Horton. A life long resident of Campbell (NY) she was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Stickler died in 1943, after the couple had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Albert Rogers, Mrs. James Clark of Campbell, Miss Wanda Stickler at home and Mrs. Clarence Marshall of Coopers Plains; one son, Jessie L. Stickler of corning; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Silvernail (Find A Grave Memorial# 39826998) of Campbell and Mrs Edwin Bill of Trenton N.J.; one brother, Theodore H. Horton of Hammondsport: 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Bond Funeral Home in Bath, where friends may call. Funeral services will be held there, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur C. Rehme, pastor of the Bath Centenary Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made in the riverside Cemetery at Campbell. [Obituary courtesy of Nancy Ferguson]
