Edna Mae "Sis" Williams, 91, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Westlake, Edna loved her family, her pups, pig roast, flowers, laughter, sewing and crochet as well as fishing and camping at Red River with her "boys". She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, David "Moose" Williams and wife, Tena of Moss Bluff, Ed Williams and wife, Mitzie of Westlake; daughter, Edna "Jo" Hillyer of Westlake; grandchildren, David French and wife, Tracey of Hackberry, Leslie Landry and husband, Shawn of Carlyss and Jake Williams of Ragley; great grandchildren, Colin and Claire Landry, Bonni Mae Williams, Myles French and Tristan Ancelet.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Tillman L. Williams; parents, David and Mary Antoinette Gibson Oliver; sisters, Anna "Mam-Maw" Barrow and Hazel "Hey-Hey" Barry and brothers, David "Sonny" Oliver and William "Boob" Oliver.
Graveside services will be at 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Magnolia Cemetery under direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Rocky East will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday in the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
