Funeral services for Anthony Lawson Acord, 61, of Bolt will
be conducted at 1 p. m. Wednesday in the Breckenridge Baptist Church at Bolt with the Rev. Wesley Grose and the
Rev. Doff Harvey officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Acord died in a Beckley nursing home at 9:05 a.m. Monday after a long illness.

He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Breckenbridge Baptist Church.

A son of the late James and Laura Callaway, he was born at Bolt Aug. 15, 1904.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Stolie Dickens Acord; one
son, Dennis of Bolt; four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Janice) Gunoe and Mrs. Kermit (Eunice) Gunoe both of Bolt; Mrs.
Johnny (Dreama) Hurst and Mrs. Kenny (Connie) Samples both of Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie King of Oak Hill, Mrs. Elsie Richardson of Bolt and Mrs. Maggie Dickens of Dayton, Ohio, and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Kyle Allen, Danny Tollrver, Johnny
Accord, Carl Belcher, Clark Daniel and Dave Severt.

The body will be taken from the Rose and Queseriberry Funeral Home to the residence at Bolt at 5 p.m. today.
