ACKERMANN
Mr. George Christian (Chris) Ackermann, 106 S.W.W. White Rd., passed away at his home, Tuesday, Aug. 6. at the age of 74 years. Survivors: Widow, Mrs. Margaret L. Ackermann; daughter, Mrs. Anna J. Kempin; sister, Mrs. Hannah Marie Coker; brothers, Emil D. and Adolph L.C. Ackermann; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, all of San Antonio. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Alamo Funeral home, Thursday, Aug.8, at 10 a.m. with Rev. John E. Meyer officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Eddue Gembler, Alvin Meckel, Bertherd Marchwardt, Dick Gembler, Clarence and Martin Ackermann. Mr. Ackermann was a member of Anton Wenzel Lodge no 174, Sons of Hermann.
