1st. She was born and reared in Franklinton and the daughter of the late Wiley H. Jones. She married at age 18 years and had 9 children, 7 surviving. Survivors are her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. G.W. Goodbee, Mrs. J.H.
Forrester of New Orleans, Mrs. B.D. Toler of Baton Rouge; 4 sons, Robert, Willie, and Wiley Wood of New Orleans, Houston Wood of Kingsville, Tx. Interment was in the Ellis cemetery.
