Wedding Announcement
From Mrs. Effie Graham Abraham of Kirkwood, MO., has been received an invitation to the marriage of her daughter, Miss Sarah Abraham to Lawrence Manning Power, Jr., on the morning of Wednesday, July 15, at 11 o'clock at 236 East Main street, Kirkwood. Mr. Powers was for several months and up to about a year ago living in Biloxi, and was connected with the City Drug Store, and will be remembered as a genial and pleasant young man with a host of warm friends. Miss Abraham, who is a pretty and accomplished young lady, was for sometime a guest at the home of Mrs. G. Hann on East Beach street and it was there that the two young people first met. Mr. Powers is now at Bay St. Louis where he is engaged in the drug business and the young couple will be at home there after the first of September.

OBITUARY:
POWER - On Sunday morning, May 16, 1954, at 5:58 o'clock a. m., at her residence, 410 South Beach, Bay St. Louis, Miss., SARA ABRAHAM, wife of the late Laurence M Power; mother of Mrs. Don McCulloch of Bay st. Louis, Miss.; daughter of the late Effie Graham and Thomas Abraham; also survived by three grandchildren, Donald, Linda and James McCulloch of Bay St. Louis, Miss.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited t attend the funeral, which will take place from the Fahey funeral home, 205 Union street, Bay St. Louis, Miss., on Monday afternoon, May 17, 1954, at 3 o'clock, followed by religious services at Christ Episcopal church, corner South Beach and Carroll street.
