Billy Joe Anderson, 64, of Crossville, passed away Oct. 22, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Oct. 25 from the chapel of Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home of Monticello, KY, with burial in Elk Spring Cemetery. Mr. Anderson was born Jan. 31, 1942, in Wayne County, Kentucky, the son of Derlie Ann Dick Anderson and Clarence Robert Anderson.
He married Betty Jo Coffey on Feb. 19, 1977. He was retired from the city of Crossville and was a member of Concord Baptist Church of Monticello, KY. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Anderson of Crossville; father, Robert Anderson of Monticello, KY; daughter, Laurie J. Arnaud of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Kristen and LeAnne; siblings, Lawrence Anderson, Betty Gregory, Katy Gregory and Randall Anderson, all of Monticello, KY, Mildred Noerenburg of Fowler, IN and Patsy Irwin of Lancaster, KY.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Derlie Ann Dick Anderson; infant daughter, Angela Dawn Anderson; brother, Larry Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Natalie and Tracy.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC was in charge of the local arrangements.
