Mr. John B. Main, of 607 Wrights Ave., Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Thursday, January 11, 1968, in an Augusta hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Platt's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Corry officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles Weathers, Fred Johnson, Willie Johnson, Louie Faulkner, Russell Powell and Julian Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be members and Auxiliary, Camp Hancock Barracks, Veterans of World War I. He was a retired aide at Veterans Administration Hospital. He was a member of Camp Hancock Barracks No. 900, Veterans of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lena Bosdell Main, Augusta; and one niece.
