will be at 10 AM Tuesday at Shannon's South Chapel with burial
at Moore's Memorial Gardens ….
He died Saturday here in a hospital …
Rainbolt, a Whitney native and a resident here for 53 years, was a
retired employee of Spencer Chemical Company and the Pepsi
Bottling Company …
He was a 33rd degree mason, a past president of Cooke – Peavy
Masonic Lodge, a member of the Moslah Shrine in Fort Worth and a
past member of the Masonic Service Bureau …
Surviviors include his wife, Birdie ; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Burch
and Mrs. Patsy Andrews, both of Fort Worth ; two brothers, Roy
Rainbolt of Fort Worth and Chester Rainbolt of Burleson ; four sisters,
Mrs. Zora Gouldman of Whitney, Mrs. Lillie Phillipson of Fort Worth,
Mrs. Alice Stoudenmier and Mrs. Effie Gorman, both of Houston ;
Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren ….

I believe this man to be the grandson of John Alvin Rainbolt, page# 240 Individual# 1060 .....
Now, with this in mind, I remember hearing that the John Alvin Rainbolts in the book were "switched" ....
