Mrs. Addison (Ted) Sherman (Harriet Ariabelle Rozell)

Mrs. Addison (Ted) Sherman, 70, a former resident of the town of Pine Grove, died at her home near Big Flats (Adams County) Tuesday evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Plainfield Baptist church, and burial will follow in the Plainfield cemetery. Rev. Asa Hoskins will officiate at the rites. The body is at the Goult funeral home in Plainfield.

Mrs. Sherman had been in ill health for a number of years, following a stroke. She was the former Harriet Airabelle Rozell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Rozell, and was born near Rozellville (Marathon county) on May 4, 1885.

Her marriage to Mr. Sherman took place Oct. 27, 1901. The couple lived in Pine Grove for many years and then resided in Tomahawk before moving to Big Flats, Mrs. Sherman is survived by her Harry Hansen and Mrs. Albert Timm, Plainfield, Mrs. Robert Taylor, Brookfield, Mrs. Gale Hall, Bancroft, ad Mrs. Jane Rathermal; three sons, Henry, Bancroft, Sylvester, Woodstock, Ill., and Rollie, Richford, and two brothers, Abner Rozell, Hancock and Bert Rozel.

Funeral Of Mrs. Sherman

Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Plainfield Baptist church for Mrs. Addison 'Ted' Sherman, Big Flats Adams county, a former resident of the town of Pine Grove. Rev. Asa Hoskins conducted the services, and burial took place in the Plainfield cemetery.

Pallbearers were six grandsons, Glenn and Francis Rothermel, Larry and David Hansen and Frederick and Edward Sherman "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "The Sweet Bye and Bye" were sung during the services by Mrs. Fern Beggs and. Mrs. Ida Beggs and accompanied by Mrs. Harvey Kramer.

(Note: In both obits, her husband's name is wrong. Her husband's name should be Edison not Addison, and his nick name should be Ed not Ted.)
