Miss Anna Henrietta Persun passed away very suddenly, at her home on Carpenter Street, Friday, May 23rd, at the age of 58 years.
Although she had not been in the best of health for several years her death came as a distinct shock to her many friends in this community.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Persun, who were highly respected residents of this section for many years.
During her long affiliation with the Evangelical Church, she gave much time and active participation in the different branches of church work.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from her late home with Rev. Heisley of Lock Haven and Rev. Carl F. Gunter officiating. Interment was in the Bahr Hill cemetery.
Miss Persun is survived by one sister, Miss Carrie Persun.
