Ruby Blackmon Boone Moseley

Mrs. Ruby B. Moseley, 70, of Valley died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.

Mrs. Moseley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie A. and Denise Boone of Valley; her son, Joe R. Boone of Valley; three sisters, Dot Mason of Lanett, Edna Thompson of Fredonia and Betty Story of Columbus, Ga.; three brothers, Bobby Blackmon of Fredonia, Franklin Blackmon of LaFay-ette and Sanford Blackmon of Baltimore, Md.; and eight grandchildren.

Born July 23, 1929, in Chambers County, Ala., Mrs. Moseley was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Fredonia. She was a retired employee of WestPoint Stevens C.C.R. Mrs. Moseley was the daughter of the late Alice Dixon Blackmon and James Blackmon.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
