Son of American author/feminist Margaret Fuller and Giovanni Angelo Ossoli. He died in infancy with his parents when traveling from Europe to make their new home in the United States. Their ship was wrecked off Fire Island, New York; both parents and the infant died but only Angelo's body was found. Though the cenotaph in Mount Auburn remembers all of them, it notes that only the baby's "dust reposes at the foot of this stone."
