BOWEN, Laura Marguerite (Margie), 69, of Gourdneck Road, Tullahoma, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, at Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga. A native of Dade County, Fla, she was a homemaker and member of Grundy Street Church of Christ and the Center Grove Homemakers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Annie Myrtle (Elder) Fielding, and a son, David Bowen.

She is survived by her husband, John Bowen, and two daughters, Loretta Johnson and Margie Hankins, all of Tullahoma; one son, John Bowen, Manchester; three sisters, Roberta Elrod, Tullahoma; Sofrona Bailies, Baltimore, and Anna Frances Sells, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one brother, J.C. Fielding, Tullahoma; 14 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 15, 1996, at Tullahoma Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 1996, with Manley Luscombe officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorial gifts to either Hospice of Highland Rim or the American Cancer Society. Tullahoma Funeral Home Is In charge of arrangements.
