Mrs. Mathilda (Blacquiere) Gallant of County Road, Andover, died on a Thursday at Winchester Hospital following a short illness at the age of 94.
The widow of John P. Gallant, she was born in Mt. Carmel, Prince Edward Island and had resided in Andover for 50 years. She attended St. Augustine's Church in that town.
She leaves three sons, Joseph, Theodore and Albin; a daughter, Madeline, wife of Leo Gallant; 13 grand-children and 34 great-grand-children.
Funeral services were held the following Saturday from M.A. Burke Memorial Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover with a 9 a.m. high Mass in St. Augustine's Church.
