MAGNA, Utah -- Beverly Jeanne Beard Hinmon, 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2003. Bev was born March 24, 1949 in Ogden, a daughter of Fred Beard and Armine Fugate She was married to Jim Hinmon. Bev attended Davis High School and the University of Utah. She resided in Magna for the past 18 years. She worked for many years at the Marriott Reservation Center. Bev loved the Lord. She had a precious spirit and sense of humor. She is where we wanted to be. ." to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". We"ll see you up there, Bev, - you won your race. Surviving are her husband, Jim, of Magna; her children, Matthew (Karen) Hinmon and Sara (Mike) Durfee, and grandchildren, Aryana and Berserkr. Bev is also survived by her mother, Armine, sisters, Marsha (Paul) Chipman and Karen (Ron) Vanderhule, and many nieces and nephews. Last July, Bev"s brother Fred, passed on to Glory. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist"s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, with Pastor Troy Vanderhule officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
