He was born July 18, 1930, in Canton to Harold H. and Kathlyn (Rigg) Lindzey Sr. He married Frances McCabe on Dec. 28, 1963, in Lewistown.
She survives, along with two daughters, Sandra L. (Jeff) Wheeler of Pekin and Peggy L. Lindzey of Canton; one grandson, Ryan Wheeler; one granddaughter, Lindzey Wheeler; one brother, Bruce A. (Sherry) Lindzey of Canton; and one sister, Beverly Hagaman of Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Harold worked for International Harvester in Canton for over 30 years, retiring in 1982, and currently was a park ranger at Lakeland Park in Canton.
He belonged to the Canton American Legion Post 16.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran from 1951 to 1955.
Cremation rites were accorded.
