Services for Bedrick Bartos, 86, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Resthaven Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Neyland officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

He died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001.

He was born Oct. 1, 1914, in Bomarton. He married Edith Francis Pribyia on Aug. 17, 1937, in Haskell. She preceded him in death on June 23, 1995. He moved to Lubbock in 1953, and started his own irrigation company, Aluminum Metal Products, in 1956. His business interests also included farming and rental property.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Mitchell, on Dec. 5, 1988.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy of Slaton; a daughter, Theresa Kay Drewell of Lubbock; two sisters, Albina Macha of Lubbock and Eula Kocurek of Seymour; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
